Borjom-Kharagauli National Park is the first National Park created in independent Georgia in 1995. It is one of the biggest parks of Georgia, with a total area of 104,099 hectares, which is surprisingly more than 1.5% of the country’s territory. The Park’s territory includes the following six municipalities: Borjomi, Kharagauli, Akhaltsikhe, Adigeni, Khashuri, and Baghdati.
