History
Guangzong Si was built during the Qing dynasty in the early 18th century, and like many religious sites, it was demolished during the Cultural Revolution and rebuilt in the 1980s. The temple complex features traditional Chinese architectural elements with distinct Buddhist influences. It comprises several halls, pavilions, and courtyards that house statues, religious artefacts and books of scripture.
