Getting There
To get to the Novkhani you need to use both the metro and a bus. First you need to get to the “Azadliq prospekti” metro station. Once you are there, take bus №123, which will bring you to the beach area in Novkhani.
Baki – Pirshagi electric train is another way to reach Novxani. It will take you 30 minutes to walk till the beach area from the station, or you can take a taxi. You can also get there by using a private car.
What to Expect
The beach is considered as one of the most beautiful and attractive not only throughout Azerbaijan but also along the Caspian coastline. The sand on the beach is quite coarse, and you can often find shell rock. Occasionally, many algae can be seen in sea water. The color of the sand varies from dark white to golden red, and the sea bottom also consists of coarse sand. Even at 100 meters, an adult can reach the bottom with his feet as the depth progressively increases. There are hotels, a sizable water park, and a full range of water sports available at the beach.
