Zira Eco Park

Getting There

To reach Zira Eco Park you need take a bus №Q1 from “Koroglu” metro station. Then you need to change it at the “School 186” bus stop in Pirallahi district to the bus №150 or 187. It will bring you directly to the eco park. You can also use a taxi or private car.

What to Expect

Zira Cultural Center and Eco-Park was built on Baku-Pirallahi road in Zira settlement. The total area of the center is 10 hectares.

Eco-Park was designed with a special landscape design. More than 50,000 different types of decorative and fruit trees, more than 100,000 shrubs and about 1,000,000 flowers and roses have been planted here. Fountains have been built in the park, small artificial water bodies – ponds have been created. The irrigation system is automatically controlled by a computer. The Fountains Square in the area was created with a special water-channel system. The special and colorful lighting system of the fountains creates a special aesthetic at night.

A children’s playground with various types of attractions has been created in the park area, sports simulators have been installed. A special park of electric cars and bicycles has been created for young children. About 150 exotic birds of 25 names were brought to the area, and a Bird Park with appropriate conditions for their maintenance and breeding was created.

History

The Zira Culture Centre has been constructed by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation based on a special design. On December 30, 2015, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva and the Foundation’s vice-president Leyla Aliyeva attended the inauguration ceremony.
