You can reach Goychay, located 260 km west from Baku, in around 3-3.5 hours by car or inter-city bus leaving from the Baku International Bus Station. The festival is held in the city centre, so you will arrive right to the spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What to Expect<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Expect everything related to pomegranate, the \u201cking of fruit\u201d of Azerbaijan \u2013 competitions, performances, fairs, pomegranate juice and wine, and, of course, lots and lots of organic, locally grown pomegranates. In 2020, the Festival was included in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.<\/p>\n\n\n
