The mega-mall is home to retail and entertainment complexes. Including a supermarket, a family park, cafes and restaurants, cinemas, gyms, a water park with an artificial beach and wave pools, office space, parking for 700 cars and much more. The main highlight of Khan Shatyr is a beach resort with a tropical climate, plants and a temperature of +35 degrees all year round. The sandy beaches of the resort are equipped with a heating system, which gives the feeling of a real beach, and the sand is brought from the Maldives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

History<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Opened July 6, 2010. The 90-metre high tent (150 m including the spire) has a 200-by-195-metre elliptical base covering 140,000 square metres (14 ha). Under the tent, an area larger than 10 football stadiums, is an urban-scale park, shopping and entertainment venue with squares and cobbled streets, a boating river, shopping centre, minigolf and indoor beach resort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
