Situated in Arkhangai region, the lake is about 600km west of Ulaanbataar. The village of Tariat<\/strong> is the stopping-off point for the national park and takes around 12 hours to reach from Ulaanbaatar. Tsagaan Nuur is all about getting out among Mongolia\u2019s pristine nature while experiencing local culture as you camp lakeside in a ger. Depending on the season it\u2019s a good spot for swimming and boating, as well as fishing and walks around its shore. Making up part of the national park is the nearby Khorgo Uul volcano that you can hike up to its crater rim for great views.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
