By Train: If you want to go to Shogran by train from any part of the country, there is no train available to go to Shogran and village. So you can get off at Rawalpindi Railway station or Peshawar station and go Shogran by car, bus, and Jeep

By Road: Through a car, you can reach Shogran from Islamabad in four an half hours. The distance of Shogran t from Islamabad is 215 km. From Peshawar, you can reach Swat at a distance of 258 kilometers.

Shogran is a village situated on a green plateau in the Kaghan Valley, northern Pakistan at a height of 7,749 feet or 2,362 meters above sea level. The valley of Shogran has a very diverse range of flora and fauna. While on one hand there are many wildflowers, on the other there are also vast meadows of lush green grass that present a beautiful view. The same is true for the fauna of the area.

There are small animals like marmots and wild sheep and deer, while birds like peasants, woodcocks, pigeons, hawks, falcons, and vultures are commonly found as well. Woodpeckers have also been seen sometimes but only during the mid-summer months. There are so many large mammals and large cats in the area, but due to human expansion, there have been no recent sightings of these in the valley. However, if you are lucky enough, you may get to see one on your trip.
