The beach is named after Bladen Wilmer Hawke, who owned a house on the beach during the 1930s. The beach is very popular, with hundreds of people visiting daily for swimming, camel and horse riding, and vacations.

Getting There

The beach known as Hawke’s Bay is situated in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. The town is located 20 kilometers west of Karachi. There is a road connecting Hawkes Bay Road and Mauipur Road.

What to Expect

It is a very famous tourist sandy beach with crystal blue water. Every day a large number of people from Karachi visit there and enjoy picnicking, swimming, fishing, and camel and horse riding. Hawks Bay is one of the few beaches in the world where green sea turtles come to lay eggs.

History

The beach is named after Bladen Wilmer Hawke ( 9th Baron Hawke), who owned a house on the beach during the 1930s. The beach is very popular, with hundreds of people visiting daily for swimming, camel and horse riding, and vacations.

This beach is known for being a nesting ground of green sea turtle and olive ridley sea turtle during winter months.
