Visit Guide to Flag Square

Located on the Baku Boulevard, this is a 60-hectare raised square that was previously home to a 162m-high flagpole which entered the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s tallest in 2010. The square also hosts a flag museum displaying items such as money, stamps and flags that tell the history of the country.

Getting There

Thanks to its comfortable location on the Baku Boulevard, it is possible to get there by public transportation or a car. Alternatively, you can enjoy a short walk to the Flag Square along the Caspian Sea.

What to Expect

Once home to the world’s tallest flagpole, the National Flag Square today hosts the flag museum dedicated to the flag of Azerbaijan.
