What to Expect
Mardakan boasts a picturesque stretch of sandy beaches and is located in a resort village of the same name. Situated just 40 km from Baku on the northern edge of the Absheron Peninsula, this coast is renowned for its clean sand and sea waters. Because of its proximity to the capital and well-developed infrastructure, it is one of the most visited beaches near Baku.
The resort appeals to a wide audience, from families with children to young adults, all of whom will find various entertainment options both on and off the beach. Given its pristine conditions, locals often refer to Mardakan as the true “pearl of Baku near the sea”.
The coastline is characterized by white sand and offers ideal conditions for relaxation. The beach is divided into several distinct areas, including both free and paid options, and even features a separate area with a water park (aquapark). The shallowness of the waters near the shore also makes it a safe destination for families with small children.
