The Anig castle was once located to the south of the current village. “Anig Castle” is a one-of-a-kind location in Gusar that resembles an 8-angled prism. Some sources refer to Aniq Mosque as the “Taj Mahal Mosque” because it was built in the architectural style of the “Taj Mahal” in India.
