Commemorates the victims of massacres carried out by Bolshevik-Dashnak forces in various parts of Azerbaijan, including Guba, in 1918. It features two pyramid-like structures that house a contemporary museum detailing how the massacres unfolded in each province using a wide range of archival documents, maps, photos, statistics and personal stories. It was constructed following the discovery of a mass grave on the site in 2007.

Getting There

The Complex is located in the centre of Guba city, north from Baku. To reach it, take a bus from the Baku International Bus Station heading to Guba. You can alternatively take a car/taxi ride.

What to Expect

The main feature of the Complex dedicated to the victims of the 1918 massacres in Azerbaijan is an excellent museum detailing how these awful events unfolded across the country through archival documents, photos, maps, other visuals and personal stories of those who suffered.
